The Atlanta Hawks has encouraged and inspired Jackson so much. Jackson is a huge basketball fan, especially the NBA. Being encouraged by any NBA team is emotional for Jackson, but since the Atlanta Hawks are his favorite team, it was a special moment that he will remember forever. Jackson definitely forgot he was sick for a while with the love he felt from the franchise.
When Jackson was in the hospital in Cincinnati for his 26 months, the Atlanta Hawks heard about his story. They mailed him a care package. It included a jersey with his name on the back, custom bags, custom posters, blanket, player shirts, hats, a signed Trae Young basketball and so much more stuff as you can see.
After Jackson had been discharged from the hospital, the next season, the Atlanta Hawks invited him to a game. He got to watch pre-game while sitting courtside. He got to meet many of the players and staff. It was a dream for Jackson to meet his favorite player Trae Young. Trae even gave Jackson his warm up sweatshirt. Jackson also got to meet Dominique Wilkins, Kyle Korver, Djounte Murray, Jalen Johnson & Wesley Matthews. It was a dream that Jackson could never have imagined. The Hawks and Esti are special to Jackson and a big part of Jackson's life.
